Actors Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha have been legally married since 2020, but the couple finally celebrated their marriage on October 4 throwing a grand reception party for their close friends and colleagues in Bombay. The lovebirds had met on the sets of 2012 release Fukrey, and have been together for almost a decade now.

Ali and Richa wanted a celebration of their togetherness, the duo had some pre-wedding ceremonies in New Delhi, as well as Lucknow, and finally a big reception in Mumbai.
Ali thanked everyone for their wishes. He wrote, “We feel eternally blessed that you all came. To all our friends and those who weren’t there, thank you. We love you. You must know that. Its been a roller coaster for us celebrating and attending to family emergencies all in one week. Such is God’s way of blessing us and keeping us humble and awarding us patience . Their reception in Mumbai was attended by Vicky Kaushal, Hrithik Roshan, Tabu, Manoj Bajpayee, Taapsee Pannu, Ashutosh Rana, Vishal Bhardwaj, Swara Bhasker, Sanya Malhotra and Sudhir Mishra, among others.

Richa chose a beautiful ivory full-sleeved gharara set that featured intricate chikankari embroidery and a matching dupatta . The element that lifted the chikankari craftsmanship was an interplay of mirror work that was featured all across the bodice. The theme for Richa’s look was a vintage-styled and traditional affair that highlighted one of the country’s most loved crafts that stem from Lucknowi karigars.
